The Summer Triangle Series
The Summer Triangle series explores a supernatural connection with the natural world, seeking to reawaken a sense of wonder in what often appears mundane. At its core, these works aim to remind us of the extraordinary hidden in the familiar—of the miracles embedded in the everyday, which we often overlook.
This journey begins with the perspective of nature as a miraculous force, one that inspires awe and fascination. Through this lens, a playful narrative emerges, blending poetic allegories and the subtle processes of the natural world. In this imagined universe, cosmic and earthly phenomena merge, taking on new roles that transcend their typical boundaries.
The sun and moon, central symbols in this series, act as supernatural visitors, reversing the ordinary and offering the viewer a surreal, intimate encounter. Fossilized starfish in blue stone evoke images of the night sky, connecting earth and cosmos, while sources of light—be they celestial or terrestrial—become symbols of radiance and protection. Through these works, I attempt to re enchant the world around us and point to the extraordinary in the seemingly ordinary.
